About Nicolas

As a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with 19 years of financial services experience, I serve as a “financial counselor,” helping my clients turn long-term financial dreams and life goals into a reality through sound financial planning and advice.
Both of my parents were sociologists and family counselors, so I always knew I wanted to work in a career in which I could help people. At TIAA, I am able to serve those who serve others, which makes my work truly meaningful to me.
I live in Morgantown, WV with my family, spending time each month in Pittsburgh with my friends and clients there as well. I have two children, and we are on the lookout for a Labrador Retriever to add to our mix! We love music, hiking, and playing card games – pretty much just keeping things simple and being down to earth. My partner is an amazing gardener, and I love black and white photography and film. In the winter, you might run across us cross country skiing the trails in Coopers Rock State Forest – one of our favorite ways to stay active. I am also a proud member of the West Virginia Botanic Garden & Phipps Conservatory.
