About Marc

I am a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with 22 years of financial services experience and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the US Naval Academy in 1994.
While growing up, I always had a curiosity about finance and economics. After earning my degree in Economics and six years as an active duty US Marine Artillery officer, I separated from service and entered the financial services industry in 2000. I realized there was a vast difference between theory and practice. I also learned that there was a significant need among clients for financial education and service, and an advisor who is responsive, accessible, and well-versed in a broad spectrum of financial planning concepts. I have dedicated my entire career to providing sound financial advice to my clients based on their goals, and find great fulfillment in helping them understand the complexities of the markets and financial planning.
I now live in La Jolla, CA with my wife Lori, and two daughters Regan and Calin, and our two dogs Kona and Tripp. Our family enjoys playing volleyball, outdoor activities at the beach, surfing, fishing, and playing with our dogs.
