About Lisa
I am a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with 19 years of financial services experience. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce. I also hold a Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®).
My father immigrated to the US from Cuba as a child with just the clothes on his back. Through hard work and perseverance, my parents put two kids through college (first generation) and ensured that we had all the opportunities they didn’t have. I understand firsthand the value of a college education. Helping professors and educators have financial freedom is just one small way I can give back. Growing up, I witnessed family members who did not plan appropriately for retirement and struggled financially throughout their lives. Those experiences have driven my passion toward helping my clients secure a solid retirement.
I live in Glen Allen with my husband, Rob, and our two daughters Cora and Violet. We have a passion for being outdoors and playing with our animals – our dog Max and two horses named Adeline and Tulip. Outside of work, you can find me and my girls hanging out at the barn taking care of our four legged family members.
