About Katherine
I am a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with 15 years of financial services experience. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Virginia Tech. I also obtained the Certified Financial Professional (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designations.
My fifth grade teacher taught us a stock picking game, where we learned to research stock tickers the newspaper (how things have changed!) Playing this game sparked my passion for investment management.
At TIAA, my role allows me to use my passion in a way that helps my clients achieve tangible financial outcomes. I feel fortunate to build relationships with wonderful people who inspire me and make my career fulfilling.
Originally from the DC suburbs, I now live in Old Irving Park in Chicago with my husband, Jeff, and our daughter, Amina. In my free time, I enjoy travel, restaurants, music and playing with my loveable Labrador, Arrow.
