About Geoffrey
I am a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with 36 years of experience in financial services. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Central Florida, and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designations.
As a child during the Great Depression, my mother was raised to do her best even through difficult times. She inspired me to help people plan for and navigate through any financial situation. Both my brother and sister are teachers, so I also wanted to pursue a career in helping education professionals. As a financial educator, I help my clients reach their retirement dreams just like they help their students realize their dreams.
My wife Janet and I have been married for 38 years with two grown children -- Amy lives in Durham, NC and teaches gymnastics; Stephen teaches abroad in Kuala Lumpur. I am an active member of St. James Church.
