About Carly
I am a Wealth Management Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at TIAA with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. I have a passion for helping others achieve their long-term goals through financial planning. It is important to me to connect with clients on a more personal level to deepen my understanding of their financial goals while also making the financial planning process more enjoyable. Once I have an understanding of my clients’ priorities, I create customized financial plans tailored to their goals, with a focus on asset management, tax-efficient retirement income, estate planning, and financial risk management. While there are similarities in everyone’s financial picture, each person is unique and deserves a customized plan tailored to their family’s specific needs; this should be the standard, however, I feel that this type of personalization is often times missing and is a significant gap in the financial services industry. It is also important to me that clients feel comfortable and confident in their financial plan; I avoid using unnecessary financial jargon and present clear and organized plans that are easy to understand.
I received my Bachelor of Arts from Mercer University, and also competed for four seasons on Mercer’s indoor and beach volleyball teams. I currently reside in New Jersey with my husband, Ben, and our wheaten terrier, Bozeman. In my free time, I enjoy catching a football game, traveling anywhere there is good skiing or scuba diving, or trying a new restaurant. I am also on the board for a small charity, “All in Guatemala,” that I helped start, where our mission is to help communities in Guatemala improve their quality of life, and I travel there for our annual mission trip each March.
