About Michael

I am currently a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA. I’m also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional with more than 10 years of financial services experience.

Working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals has always been my passion. I enjoy spending my time helping educate my clients on complex issues, as it makes me feel like I’m making a difference in their lives. My areas of focus are estate planning and income planning, and my clients mainly work in the non/not-for-profit space.

I received my bachelor’s degree in finance from Case Western Reserve University.

I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Cleveland for college. I currently reside in Willoughby, OH, with my wife, Jamie, and our son, Hunter. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and building semi-stable furniture out of wood. I am a self-taught woodworker who has built a number of furniture pieces in our home. When not in the kitchen or wood shop, I enjoy running with our Australian cattle herder dog and trying to keep up with my son.

I am a member of both Habitat for Humanity and the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
